Slide Two Tollgate Description Slide Three: Project Charter  Problem Statement : Ensu re you state as quantitatively as possible what the problem is, how long it has been occurring, and what the customer expectations are.    Business Justification : Why is it important to improve this process?   Process Scope : What are the beginning and end step s of the process that the project is focusing on?    Out of Scope : What areas are not being addressed in this project?
